My say on my parents 50th Marriage Anniversary.

As my parents marriage turns 50 today and we assemble here to celebrate it, I am feeling like i always have the luckiest person on earth. While I know it’s tough to express how I feel or it might be unimportant right now, I will still give it a try. 50 revolutions around the sun, together. I have only been with them through 30 of those, it’s unimaginable that how much they have gone through, how much patience they have shown together, how much frustration they have faced. I don’t think gifting something, putting statuses full of hashtags on insta is love. Love is growing old together and calibrating yourself in this constant changing relationship which we call Marriage.

As their relationship grew older, this awesome couple became younger than ever. Some silly questions from my Mom and some stubborn requests from my Dad makes me feel I have a cute little couple to accompany me in this tough thing called Life.

I thank you all for joining us in celebrating this togetherness. and most of all, I congratulate my Mom and Dad for their 50 years of marriage. and last but not the least, Their relationship is a lesson for all of us to be there during the tough times no matter what. Thank you mom and dad for enduring my adamant behaviour and I thank you for connecting me to these awesome people gathered here. Thank you so very much.
