Annecy

Trip to the french alps: complete.

We did it! We navigated the euro-rail to a town far away!

We arrived last week to Lake Annecy, not too far from where my parents studied way back when.

First day offered little sun yet an abundance of charm.

By day two the clouds cleared up and Dre said stuff like, “let’s go hiking.”

“Which one?” I asked and she pointed and we went.

I was much more concerned with the meaning of Patisserie but decided to let things play out.

“How long will it take?” I should have asked.

Then answers came: (about) three hours each way.

The hikes were worth every step.

Annecy was a beautiful city and we both loved hiking and we love you guys and will update more and more as we get better at WIFI-management.
