Interested Challenge

What is the Concept

This piece of writing is about developing an art. even though it seemed a bit difficult when I listen about it but now it makes great sense. I was able to find the answers of many questions after completing the challenge.

Dale Carnegie mentioned how we can make sincere and loyal friends by genuinely being interested in people rather than to appear being interesting yourself. I have true friends and I never could wonder about it. And I have also lived the examples he had talked about where people are not willing to talk but then they can not stop talking

At the time, we all need some kind of help in life for some specific activities from someone. But why would someone bother to help us ?

It is because some day we provide them moral support, encouraged them and developed a patronage with them. That act of kindness and support conscience not going to allow them to reject our call for help because there was a time when they were in trouble and we were interested in them to keep them strong and motivated.

That leads me to this precious activity in which we have to ask people about themselves, the activity is called Interested Challenge. In this activity, we had to keep asking people questions about themselves without saying and have to listen them carefully.

I did the activity with my hostel fellows, class mates and to be fair, there wasn't a huge difference. I came to know many stories of my fellow and now i have the idea of their struggle.

Challenge

What I did. I meet my fellows from school & college friends for a meeting and reunion. As we meet after a long time I tried my best to realize that I’m interested in their lives and what are they doing in their lives. I met a single person one after the other asking lots of questions just for the purpose of being interested in them.

Conclusion

It is one of the most beautiful feeling in the world when you are interested in someone and he knows.The results are rapid. From the day when I met my circle first time. I have been gracefully welcomed by messages and phone calls. This is what happens when you are interested in anyone.
