Having a Binary Mindset

And how having a support system is key

You either do it or don’t. It’s something I’m trying to ingrain into my brain since I heard Gary Vaynerchuk talk about it.

I’ve always been ‘in the grey’ kinda guy and it has served me well into my twenties. However, it’s not got me to where I want and aspire to be. I’ve been hearing a new phrase to me that goes like:

So I’m trying to better myself all the time. I’m trying different things and ideas because I know I can be great, I just have to adapt.

To get to the point of this story, I had a long day at work. My day starts at 3 am. Yes I open a fast food restaurant, but I usually get off at 1 pm. Today I stayed later, but that’s pretty normal now.

I came home after getting food and I just die! I literally am falling asleep at my desk watching YouTube videos on how to make passive income and I get a phone call. It’s my fiancé and she’s leaving her work.

She launches into motivation mode and gives me the lowdown on how I need to write and not let how tired I am affect my aspirations.

This is why having a support system is key. You have to choose the right people in your life to keep you accountable. She gets my head straight when I can’t do so myself and for that I’m so thankful for her.

I have to put in the work no matter what.

I have to show up

I have to get it through my thick skull

I have to realize

That I either do it or don’t.
